What You'll Learn

Learn the latest industry trends and technologies

  • Attend industry events to engage ecosystem players in the domains of Industry 4.0, Internet-of-Things and embedded systems
  • Keep up to date with latest industry trends, technology developments and prepare market research reports based on competitive monitoring and insights

Lead Generation

  • Identify, plan & forecast opportunities through sales pipelines management
  • Develop and maintain positive relationship with new and prospective customers to generate recurring business opportunities

Technical Sales Management

  • Understand customer business requirements, collaborate closely with product development team to assess technical needs and to determine system requirements. Plan and modify products and services to meet customer’s needs
  • Recommend improved materials and up-to-date technology to customers, demonstrating how changes will lower costs or increase productivity
  • Provide technical sales support from origination, execution to after sales
  • Support in research and development of new products and services

Prepare Sales Proposals

  • Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations explaining products or services to existing customers and prospective customers
  • Prepare project specifications, costing, quotations
  • Participate in price negotiation and complete the sale
  • Prepare tender documents, secure and renew orders/ projects and arrange delivery
  • Possess a Diploma in Electronics, Engineering, Business IT or equivalent experience
  • Basic understanding of electronics and microcontrollers
  • Prior hands-on electronics tinkering is necessary
  • Experience in sales of embedded systems, turnkey engineering solutions will be an advantage
