​Embedded Systems Engineer/ Programmer

The Opportunity

Your main tasks involve Smart Nation initiatives and building innovative working prototypes. You’ll also work closely with internal and external product developers, designers, engineers and technicians to create strong product-market fits and hardware-as-a-service solutions

Job Description

-Participate in entire embedded systems implementation cycle

  • ​Build robust and scalable software on hardware
  • Write clean code to develop functional applications on IDEs, mobile and desktop
  • Design and implementation of security, data protection, data storage solutions

-Support product improvements​

  • ​Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Continuously improve your programming skills
  • Develop and propose new products or features by monitoring the industry

-Collaborate closely with internal and external teams

  • ​Collaborate with third party or client's developers and designers to iterate on existing features, identify and build new features
  • Provide training and support to internal teams

Requirement

-Years of experience

  • ​1 year of experience as embedded systems engineer or a fresh and willing mind
  • Bachelor degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Science preferred

-Skills Required:

  • ​Possess hands-on experience with microcontrollers and different IDEs such as Arduino, ARM Cortex M4
  • Proficiency and experience in C/C++, Matlab, database and server/cloud-based software programming
  • Design, optimisation, implementation in embedded systems
  • Possess technical knowledge in reading datasheet, industrial product design including man-machine interface
  • Proficiency in code versioning tools such as Git
  • Familiar with web hosting services such as AWS
